Do you have more items than listed on your website?
Most of the time, Yes. Our collection grows nearly every week. So, if there is something specific you are looking for, fill out the contact us page and include your inquiries/questions
Do you take credit cards?
At this time we do not take credit cards. We only accept cash or checks payable to "Pamela Myers".
When is payment due?
To confirm your rental, payment of half the rental is due immediately after we finalize your order. The remaining balance and deposit is due at the time of pick up. If items are being deliveried, we require the remaining balance and refundable deposit to be paid one month before the event.
Is there a deposit associated with the rentals?
Yes. We ask for a refundable security deposit equal to 50% of the total rental cost. After the rentals are returned undamaged, your total deposit will be FULLY REFUNDED. It will be mailed back to you in the form of a check the following business day.
How long is the rental period?
The rental period is 72 hours or 3 days. If you need an extended rental period, we charge 25% of the total rental for each additional day.
Do you have a minimal rental?
Yes, we have a $100.00 minimum rentals for picked up at our location and we require a $250 minimum rentals for delivery. For 2018 rentals, there will be a $20 service/handling charge added to all orders (we haven't increased our prices in 5 years so thought this was the best way to offset some of our additional costs rather than increasing prices).
What if we want to change our order?
You can always add items to your order if they are available by emailing us directly. However, once your order has been finalized, you may not remove items from your order. Because most of our items are unique and one-of-a-kind, once the items are reserved for you, no one else can reserve those items.
How far in advance should we reserve our items?
Most of our items are one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, so if you have your heart set on a certain piece, you should reserve it as soon as you can finalize your list.
What happens if we break an item?
Accidents happen. If an item breaks or is damaged, we first will try to clean and fix the items ourselves, charging you a minimal fee for the repair. If the item is beyond repair and needs to be removed from our inventory, you will be charged at four times the rental rate or the actual replacement cost.
Do you deliver?
We do offer delivery within a 45 mile distance from Hummelstown for an additional fee, price dependent on items being rented. Delivery includes round trip delivery and pick up of your rental items to a central location.
If we don't want delivery, can I just pick up the items myself?
We would prefer this option, as long your vehicle of transport can accommodate the items being picked up. We will be on site to help you pack your vehicle.
Do you do styling/set-up?
Styling can be done for an additional fee, but typically we try to cater to the do-it-yourself couple who have the idea to create a certain "Pinterest" look but may not have the time to search for things. We provide our items al a carte (or indivdually) so that YOU can create your wedding look. We hope Swoon will have the inventory to bring your vision to life!
We can also set-up the rentals for an additional fee, but we would expect guidance on location and expectation.
